From all of us at Inkfree, MD – Our hearts go out to the hundreds of thousands of families whose lives have been impacted by the devastating flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. We have many thousands of customers throughout the Greater Houston area and far beyond, and we know that way too many of you are suffering immensely right now. Homes, vehicles, pets and more importantly – lives have been shattered or lost.
As a small family owned business, we are interdependent on a strong, thriving and healthy community. We are committed to doing everything we can to help our community recover and bounce back stronger than ever. We were fortunate that our business escaped the storm without damage, therefore we feel that it’s our duty to provide as much support as possible to those less fortunate and those who are struggling.
Volunteering at the NRG Shelter Medical Center
Inkfree, MD Co-Founder/Medical Director – Dr. Adaeze Okeke has been volunteering at the NRG Shelter Medical Center. Dr. Okeke is also an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, where she is a family medicine practitioner. Dr. Okeke saw dozens of patients throughout the night during the weekend and was glad to be able to serve the community at such a dire time. We are extremely grateful to all the volunteers and first-responders across our community who are making us extremely proud right now.
Supporting Houston Harvey Flood Relief – JJ Watt Foundation
Inkfree, MD has made an initial cash donation to the JJ Watt Foundation – Houston Harvey Flood Relief Fund. We will also be donating a percentage of services and product sales during September to this fund.
